IBM Scientists Faced the Guinness
An achievement made last year by IBM scientists can’t really compare with the largest collection of Charlie’s Angels memorabilia (5,569 items), the most body piercings in one session (3,900) or the longest cucumber (47 inches), all Guinness World Records, but IBM’s nanotech experts have attained a Guinness record of their own. Their feat: creating the smallest 3D map of Earth.

1st Science Fiction Movie Filmed in Space Stays Underground
A new documentary about space tourist Richard Garriott's flight to the International Space Station is hitting theaters now, but the sci-fi movie he made aboard the orbiting lab remains under wraps.

Here are the few photos taken by NASA, which includes Space photographs also. Space photography has come a long way since the Mercury missions of the early 1960s. The only photo equipment in Colonel John Glenn’s cramped Friendship 7 capsule was a point-and-shoot camera loaded with Kodak 35mm film.

This famous "Blue Marble" shot represents the first photograph in which Earth is in full view. The picture was taken on December 7, 1972, as the Apollo 17 crew left Earth’s orbit for the moon.
